Sheena Colbath Harden is a Development Professional. What does that mean? She can plan a successful fundraiser, write a winning grant, manage multiple programs, negotiate contracts, write and design newsletters and websites, speak at public events, write press releases and more – all with timeliness and finesse.
Sheena is a leader in the Community Technology field. She is the manager of the City of Austin’s Grant for Technology Opportunities Program and one of the founders of Austin Connects, a partnership between the City, Austin Free-Net and Skillpoint Alliance.
In 2010 she received an award in acknowledgment of her leadership at the City of Austin Digital Inclusion awards. She was recognized in 2010 and 2009 by the Austin Mayor with Certificates of Appreciation for her outstanding public service. One of her websites won 2009 1st Place Winner in Knowbility’s Accessibility Internet Rally. She was nominated for the 2006 South by Southwest Dewey Winburne Community Service Award and the Outstanding Community Affairs Executive of the Year in 2003 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
